The Short Form Catastrophe

Briefs and bits: Longer than tweets, shorter than blog posts. Updated randomly and elegantly.

  • Tales from debating on the internets

Goon one: That McDonald’s coffee lawsuit was bogus. Of course coffee is hot!

Me: Um, here’s transcripts from the trial where McDonald’s own people stated A) they kept coffee pretty darn hot, B) served it that hot, C) never thought about checking how safe that was or how bad it could burn someone.

Goon two: They didn’t serve it too hot. That’s a lie.

Me: It’s in the court transcripts. Their own people admitted it. They lost the case.
